About Us

Hi! We’re Prairie Fire Choir.

Prairie Fire Choir (PFC) is a Twin Cities-based, treble-voiced, acapella group that welcomes women (cis and trans) and non-binary singers to raise their collective voices.

Formed in 2010, PFC offers a supportive, fun, and educational environment to explore musical passions and give back through partnerships with causes close to our hearts. PFC performs original music and arrangements of folk, pop, and rock songs. The choir is a self-directed and democratically run non-profit. PFC has 70 members and performs at a wide variety of events and venues throughout the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota.

We sing together to build a more joyful, just, and connected community.

We value fairness, justice, equity, respect, openness, inclusivity and authenticity. We amplify causes including but not limited to social justice, women’s rights, racial justice, environmental justice, and LGBTQ rights.
